Keep the connections.
Lose the feed detour.
Visit LinkedIn for a job, a message, or a professional profile. FocusTube targets the detected home feed and its related surfaces so the feed does not become the purpose of the visit.
Cover the detected home feed
With the feed-hiding options enabled, FocusTube covers the detected feed area and selected sidebar surfaces on recognized home and feed views. Strict Mode blocks access to those detected surfaces; Warn Mode gives you a choice to continue.
A separate, optional post filter targets detected suggested and promoted posts. It is off by default and depends on the cues present in each post.
Keep professional tasks within reach
Jobs, messages, profiles, learning, and search routes are outside the home-feed route block. FocusTube does not block the entire LinkedIn website.
Feed coverage depends on identifying the relevant area of the page, rather than removing every piece of LinkedIn content.
Choose your boundary
Route blocking applies while Focus Mode is enabled or a work timer is running.
- Strict
- Blocks the detected feed surfaces on recognized home and feed views.
- Warn
- Shows a warning on the detected feed surface, with an allow action.
- Passive
- Leaves the feed available. Separately configured post filtering can still apply.
A work timer uses Strict behavior even if you selected Warn or Passive. Timer breaks suspend blocking.
What to keep in mind
Feed coverage and optional post filtering depend on LinkedIn’s markup. Promoted and sponsored matches include English labels; other matches use structural cues. These checks do not guarantee that every suggested or promoted post will be found.
